SCENARIO: THIS PROJECT INCLUDED THE AUTOMATION OF A MINING PLATFORM. THE GOAL WAS TO AUTOMATICALLY LIFT THE DRILLING MACHINES USING PNEUMATIC WINCHES THAT WORKED IN UNISON WITH ONE ANOTHER.
- Explosion proof equipment as per ATEX for Zone 1 required
- Special control console was needed in order for all winches to be controlled by one sole operator
SOLUTION: TWELVE CUSTOM PNEUMATIC WINCHES
- Technical Solution was provided by Ingersoll Rand in co-operation with NDI Tec GmbH – distributor of Ingersoll Rand in Germany. The scope of supply was:
- 4 pcs. x Pneumatic winch LS2000R-PH-CE (lifting capacity 2 ton)
- 8 pcs. x Pneumatic winch LS5000R-PH-CE (lifting capacity 5 ton)
- Control console
